Schaefer Yachts Appoints Nautical Ventures Group as First U.S. Dealer.
Schaefer Yachts of Brazil is expanding its global sales network into the United States and has chosen Nautical Ventures to be Schaefer Yacht’s first North American dealer. Nautical Ventures has boat dealerships in Fort Lauderdale, North Palm Beach and Riviera Beach, Florida.
Under the guiding eye of President and Head Designer, Márcio Schaefer, Schaefer Yachts builds world-class luxury sport yachts ranging from 30 to 83 feet. This year, 2017, marks their 25th anniversary as a boat builder. Samuel Brito, CEO and partner of U.S. Operations for Schaefer Yachts, states, “As we begin this milestone year for our company, it was a natural business evolution for us to enter the North American marketplace. Our boats, and how they are designed, will be an ideal fit for the U.S. boating customer.” Samuel continues, “We also did our due diligence in researching U.S. boat dealers when we discovered Nautical Ventures. Upon further evaluation, we determined that they will be an ideal fit with our organization. We’re confident in their ability to offer their clientele the same high standards of customer service we deliver elsewhere in the world.”
Nautical Ventures was recently awarded Top 100 Dealer for North America by Boating Industry magazine. Started in 1987, Nautical Ventures enters its 30th year in business. “We’ve been looking to expand our boat lines into the 36’ – 80’ segment and Schaefer Yachts really fills that sweet spot,” notes Roger Moore, CEO of Nautical Ventures. “We are pleased they have chosen to make their American debut through us.”
Initial plans for Schaefer Yacht’s U.S. expansion will be to establish a South Florida operations office. Brito explains, “Eventually we would also like to have some manufacturing facilities in the U.S., most likely dedicated to the construction of key models being sold in America.”
